Policies & Procedures
Red Iron Activity Center Rules
-
No one under age 14 is allowed on fitness or weight equipment unless accompanied by a parent or participating in a sanctioned class or activity.
-
No outside food or drinks; covered water bottles allowed
-
Appropriate dress is expected; a shirt and shoes are to be worn at all times
-
If entering in street shoes, clean soles on door mats to avoid dirt and gravel marring floor surfaces
-
No cleats of any kind are allowed; turf shoes are allowed only in cages
-
No tobacco; no vaping
-
No gum
-
No fighting, bullying, harassment
-
No use of foul language

All family or household members under 14 shall be accompanied by a parent or guardian OR be part of a Red Iron organized activity or event.
No animals allowed, other than Assistance Dogs, as defined in the Kansas White Cane Law, or Service Animals, as defined in the Americans with Disabilities Act.
Failure to comply with any of the above rules will result in expulsion from the Red Iron Activity Center. Persistent rule violations could result in suspension or revocation of membership with no refund.

Team Practices/Activities

All participants must complete a Waiver and Assumption of Risk before participating in any activity at Red Iron Activity Center (RIAC).

Everyone must sign into the facility.
-
Everyone using the facility must be a member or purchase a day pass.
-
Only team members allowed; no siblings unless they are RIAC members under the direct supervision of parent/guardian who is a RIAC member.

Parents and siblings who are not RIAC members may purchase day passes and use the facility while practice is conducted.

If parents, guardians, or spectators don’t want to purchase a day pass, they may sit in the chairs at the entrance of the facility.

All youth athlete participants remain under the *direct supervision of the coach until parent/guardian arrives; participant/child may remain after practice/activity only if child is under the direct supervision of an adult RIAC member or the child is a member over the age of 14 years.

No bats, baseballs, or softballs are allowed to be used outside batting cages; must be placed on ground or in cubby.

Helmets must be worn while in cages.
-
No outside food or drink, except water bottles, allowed in the facility.

Return all equipment/balls to proper locations.

Participants are not allowed to use treadmills, elliptical, bikes, weights, or other exercise equipment unless under the direct supervision of an adult RIAC member or over age 14.

Facility reservations for no more than a one-hour block of time per day may be made by calling RIAC (CHS practices may be scheduled for up to two hours); if no one is using the second cage, you may also use that cage until someone else wishes to use it. If no one has come to use the cage you are using, at the end of your reservation, you may continue to use it until someone new comes to use it.

MEMBERSHIP
With this membership, you’ll get:

A key Fob to access the facility

24/7 access to the center through the north door
-
$60 annual fee, due when the fob is issued

Membership fees must be kept current.

Only the individuals listed on the membership can use the fob assigned to that membership.

Members under 18 are not allowed to use the fob for entry outside regular business hours unless accompanied by an adult on the membership.

Regular business hours are Monday-Friday, 6 am to 9 pm; Saturday, 6 am to 5 pm; Sunday, Noon to 5 pm.

Disclosure: Authorized personnel of the Red Iron Activity Center have the authority and the ability to track the activity of each fob issued, down to the date and exact times of usage

If any of the above conditions are not met, the fob assigned to the membership will be disabled; no refund will be given.
